Halfway through the performance period, the supervisor meets with the
employee to conduct a Midway Feedback session. The purpose of this
meeting is to review employee performance throughout the initial phase
of the review period. The supervisor and employee may review performance
expectations established at the beginning of the period, or any that have
been added or amended since, and discuss the employee's performance
in each area.
The employee may also conduct a Self-Assessment of his or her performance
for discussion during the Midway Feedback session. The supervisor
is not required to make a formal evaluation at this time.
