Bargaining Compensatory Time Report

Did you know?

  • "Comp Time" is paid time off from work earned at a premium rate by a nonexempt salaried employee in lieu of paid overtime. The maximum allowable compt time accumulation for Nonexempt employees is 30 days (240 hours).

  • Nonexempt Bargaining employees may carry up to 60 hours of compensatory time from quarter to quarter ("carryover"). These employees who accumulate more than 60 hours of compensatory time will be paid the excess only at four specific times in the year (first payroll period in February, May, August, and November). ONLY THOSE HOURS EXCEEDING THE 60-HOUR CARRYOVER BALANCE WILL BE PAID OUT.
  • It is recommended to run this report at the close of the time entry deadline for the FIRST FULL PAY PERIOD in February, May, August, and November.
