Who We Are
The Office of Data Services within
University Human Resources is responsible for managing and providing
various data resources relating to employee and appointment information.
This office develops and oversees
the PHR (Payroll Human Resources) data warehouse information for the
campus community and other PHR institutions. This staff is dedicated
to providing the most reliable and accurate information in a user- friendly
format. To accomplish this, Data Services creates canned PHR WOW
(Warehouse on the Web) reports and also assists with various ad hoc
reporting needs, so that departments can easily monitor and manage their
employees.
The Data Services staff also
provides on-going data support to all the offices within the University
Human Resources department, as well as other campus service offices
as it relates to various employee and appointment activities throughout
the year.
The coordination and maintenance
of the University Human Resources website is provided by this office.
This unit works closely with UHR staff members to provide the most current
HR information to our internal and external customers.
The Office of Data Services is
also involved with various UHR data related processes and events.
This includes services such as providing campus mailing label files,
submitting faculty-staff information for the printed campus directory,
auditing PHR data for institutional reporting, and creating many ad
hoc data inquiry reports to assist management with various research
and initiatives.
